Meadow vetchling (frequent)
Black knapweed (frequent)
Lesser stitchwort (frequent)
Meadowsweet (occasional, locally abundant)
Greater bird’s foot trefoil (occasional, locally abundant)
Tormentil (occasional)
Marsh willowherb (occasional)
Common spotted orchid (I think – I’m never sure on my own with orchids, but the spots were in the right alignment) (rare- a few near the entrance and down the slope below it)
Betony (rare, although lots of it down the slope below the entrance)

Orchids

We found some orchids in the barn field --probably common spotted but not very common here!!
They needed some protection from sheep nibbling so we put some sticks around them.
